Coaching Boxes
Coaches are to be limited to the coaching boxes. Observations of early season games indicate that we need to do a better job of making sure the coaches stay out of the red zone unless invited there by you. A polite reminder is appropriate. However, if the coach chooses not to listen, then appropriate rules book protocols should be followed.
Contact
Early season observations indicate that we are allowing too much contact that is not being penalized as a foul. Two hands on a ball handler is always a foul. An extended arm bar on a ball handler is always a foul. Enforcing this from the beginning of the game will result in a game that is played by the rules with the freedom of movement envisioned by the rules makers.
TeamControl/Player Control Foul Signal
Just a reminder. The signal should be given at the site of the foul. Such communication aids everyone (especially your partner(s)) about what happened and what should happen next.
