Let’s continue to focus on improving our rulings on illegal spin moves. Please be reminded that most spin moves are illegal.
Another area needing some improvement is the location of throw-in spots. By rule, a throw-in should be made from the spot nearest to where the violation or foul occurred. In many cases particularly on the end line, it appears that the throw-in spot is determined by the convenience of the officials.
Please be reminded that when we administer a throw-in from an incorrect location, we are kicking a rule.
