Construction is well underway for the new Sports & Events Center. The steel beams will help accomplish the desired ceiling height of 45 feet and an overall court space of 94,500 square feet. This includes 72,000 square feet for the 8 basketball/16 volleyball courts located in the main playing area as well as 12,500 square feet for the championship court.
There will be two quarter-final games in the area on Tuesday, February 20th. 1st, Wade Hampton travels to Nation Ford for a 5A Boys game at 7 PM. 2nd, Lewisville and Great Falls will square off at South Pointe HS in Rock Hill at 7 PM.
