What: Heroes’ Basketball Game (Teachers Vs. Police/First Responders)

Where: York Middle School
Event Details: York School District Teachers and all First Responders (police, paramedics, fire fighters, military veterans) will be battling it out on the basketball court for a good cause in the 2nd Annual Police Vs Teachers Charity Basketball Game. All proceeds made will go towards York Middle School student initiatives and The 809 Foundation for Detective Micheal R. Doty – who was killed in the line of duty. The 809 Foundation was created after the tragic death of a true HERO. The organization’s mission is to further the legacy of Detective Mike Doty by providing assistance in: substance abuse prevention and treatment; youth mentoring; and community unity.
We are looking for a couple of officials to volunteer to officiate this game. Please contact Paul Behr ASAP if you would like to be involved.
